Video evaluation
The final point of the film director is very clever, letting the image full of meaning speak for itself, which could have been interpreted with one or two lines of dialogue. As for the last reversal, it couldn't be better. ("Hollywood Reporter" review)
The whole movie is to watch James McAvoy constantly change from one personality to another. Fortunately, his acting skills are enough to allow Movies are selling big. ("Guardian" review)
The purpose of the film director is to keep the audience guessing. At this level, "Split" is indeed the best, but even in other aspects, It can also make you look intently. ("Variety" review)
"Split" is a psychological thriller that allows the audience to see James McAvoy's award-winning performance. The director shrewdly used black humor and appropriate suspense to cover up his plot loopholes, and, as always, gave the audience reverse surprises. ("Empire" review)
"Split" may be better, delete the material other than the starring James McAvoy, and turn it into an experimental Sexual one-man show. ("New York Post" review)
The personality change of the film actor James McAvoy was impressive, but it failed to intimidate or impress the audience. The script gave him a lot of space to show his superb acting skills, but failed to take care of his emotional communication. (Comment on "Voice of the Village")
The film made the audience satisfied that the director M·Night·Samaran continued to express himself and found his own position. Of course, the pit he dug for the sequel is very disappointing. ("New Orleans Times" review)
