Radio monitoring

Routine monitoring refers to various monitoring activities in the daily work of monitoring stations, that is, monitoring the relevant parameters of approved stations according to the frequency assignment table, and building files and libraries. It mainly includes: ①Monitoring the quality of radio waves emitted by radio stations. For example, monitoring the frequency of use, emission bandwidth, signal field strength, frequency deviation, spurious emission, modulation method and modulation degree, etc. ②Monitoring of radio frequency spectrum utilization. For example, long-term statistical monitoring of the occupancy of a certain frequency or frequency band, statistical monitoring of the actual working hours of certain radio stations, etc. ③Monitoring, direction finding and searching of unregistered unknown signals. For example, monitoring, direction finding and searching for private frequency, the frequency of stealing others, and other illegal activities. ④Monitoring the confidentiality of communications. For example, the monitoring of unauthorised use of clear-speaking communications and the use of call signs indiscriminately. Electromagnetic environment monitoring refers to the monitoring activities of the electromagnetic environment in designated areas in accordance with the requirements of the radio (electromagnetic spectrum) management agency. Also known as electromagnetic environment test. Mainly include: electromagnetic environment monitoring of radio station site selection; monitoring of electromagnetic radiation of engineering, scientific, medical and other electrical equipment; monitoring of urban electromagnetic background noise; detection and monitoring of harmful interference. Special monitoring refers to monitoring activities carried out in accordance with the major tasks of the state or the military. It mainly includes: monitoring of major national and military scientific experiments and radio control; monitoring of electromagnetic signals in various emergencies; radio monitoring of battlefields, etc.
