Guangzhou Metro Line 15 is the first in Guangzhou Rail Transit in the 2003 Sproduct Subject, and is divided into A line and B line. Later, in the 2008 long-term planning plan, Nansha Ring Number renamed Line 15, while the ring line and branch line are combined into a large ring line, and the original southwest section is later become 4 Part of the line. At the same time, the northern section of the ring line is changed to the deployment of the road. In the previous long-term planning plan, the line is originally passed by the Yangtze River to the Nansha's Old Town. After the Nansha Information Technology Park, he passed the river to the northern part of Longzhima. Some section of the Information Technology Park to Hengli replaced the NS2 line planned by the Nansha District.
Given the 12th lines and No. 12 of the city and the elixi Sand, it is under construction (will be completed in 2021), the Nansha District government is proposed to propose 15 lines to the banana door. Construction, as a two-wire connection of the Nansha Central District, the research program has begun to tender in November 2017. In the later planning plan, Hengli-Manmen-Nansha passenger port segment appeared in the first phase of the 15 line.
Guangzhou Metro Line 15 has not yet entered the Guangzhou Rail Transit Construction Plan (as of Guangzhou City Rail Transport No. 3 Construction Plan 2017 ~ 2023), the line has not yet started schedule.
In July 2021, the Guangzhou Development and Reform Commission issued the "Repunies on the feasibility study report of Nansha Station Comprehensive Transportation Hub Subway Reserved Research" agree with Nanxishang Comprehensive Transportation Hub Subway Reserve Project Construction, Reply, in order to improve the Nansha Station Hub function, the integrated planning construction of Nansha Station integrated transportation hub, stabilized long-term planning line routing and access conditions, agree to the construction of Nanxishang integrated transportation hub subway reservation project.
